Quartier Greene’s street festivals are back – this time with a fall twist!

Quartier Greene’s Fall Festival

October 28th, 2023 – 10am to 5pm

(Previously on October 21st, but rescheduled due to weather.)

Visit the shops for special Festival sales and promotions! You can catch a 10% discount on products at My Shoe Shop on Greene for the day!

 

Live Music

12:15pm – 1:00pm  GARY WHITE  Acoustic rock and soul. Acoustic guitar, voice and harmonica.

As a solo performer, Gary brings a unique combination of energy, passion, and humour to his selection of familiar hits from across the decades, arranged for acoustic guitar, voice and harmonica. With a diverse repertoire of favourites, seasoned with the occasional deep cut, you’ll be singing along, nodding your head, tapping your feet, and sticking around for one more song!

1:30pm – 2:15pm  PAT LESYK / KATE BEVAN-BAKER Celtic classics. Acoustic guitar, voice and fiddle.

Pat Lesyk and Kate Bevan-Baker are best known for their work with Solstice, one of Canada’s most exciting and prolific Celtic folk bands. Based in Montreal, they’ve been delighting audiences across North America and Europe for over a decade with their explosive live performances of their unique brand of Celtic folk that incorporates elements of Bluegrass and Canadian Maritime music. With Pat on acoustic guitar and vocals and Kate on fiddle and vocals, they will take you on an intense musical journey that transcends generations and musical styles.

2:45pm – 3:30pm GARY WHITE Acoustic rock and soul. Acoustic guitar, voice and harmonica.

4:00pm – 4:45pm PAT LESYK / KATE BEVAN-BAKER Celtic classics. Acoustic guitar, voice and fiddle.

 

Art Gallery Activities

Gallery 203 (1346 Greene) hosts meet the artist from 1 to 4pm – In the Wild –photography by Ilana Block

Ilana Block is a wildlife photographer, animal lover and naturopathic doctor based in Montreal She has won several local, national and international awards for her work www.ilanablockphotography.ca 

Gallery S16 (1362 Greene) will host a mask making workshop from 11am – 4pm for all ages – explore your artistic side in this in this urban art market gallery

Other Activities
  • There will be a Halloween-themed doggie photo booth – for pet Halloween pics
  • There will be a juggler performing around Quartier Greene.
  • Fun pumpkin decorating activity next to Square Greene for old and young – pumpkins provided
